A tireless world-traveller, in the midst of her path, stops at the Sammezzano Castle, near Florence: an amazing location, surreal and eclectic, with rooms decorated in Moorish style.

Indian embroideries, Arabian architecture, African colors and batiks and Japanese pictorial art are combined with femininity and traditional Cavalli prints.

The jackets and pants are made with linen and cotton, in natural and delicate colors, or mixed with contrasting prints in bold colors such as turquoise, amarillys and coral. The patchwork details are enriched by the neutral-colored delicate inlays in Chantilly lace, the use of graphically revisited animal prints and by different textile fragments, expression of the craftsmanship which has always characterized the Maison.

Amazing how this pre-collection is foreshadowing one of the coming summer`s biggest trends: ethno. I`m totally feeling the print-mix, combination of blue, white and black and I looooove the shoes!
